WHITE SAGE - Cedar
WHITE SAGE - Cedar
The white sage and cedar roll is a combination of two sacred plants that have powerful energy properties. The use of incense enables holistic cleaning of space and personal energy.
White sage is an herb that has a long tradition of use in various cultures. It is known for its strong and distinctive aroma, which is both refreshing and soothing. Sage also has many medicinal properties, including anti-inflammatory properties, helps with digestive problems and supports the health of the respiratory system.
Cedarwood is a sacred plant with powerful spiritual properties that has long been used in various cultures to cleanse, protect, and boost energy. The smell of cedar smoke helps to relax, calm the mind and create harmony. It promotes feelings of peace, inner balance and clarity of mind.
Frankincense combined with cedar is used in rituals, meditation, prayer and other spiritual practices. It is known for its ability to open doors to higher spiritual levels and help connect with inner wisdom, intuition and spirit guides. It raises the vibration and energy of the room and the individual. It brings a feeling of freshness, vitality and liveliness.
USE:
- Before lighting the incense, open a door or window so that the negative energy (and smoke) can leave the room.
- Before you light the incense, take a moment to think about what exactly you want to cleanse or release from your space. Intentions are key when using incense, it can be something you come up with yourself, or for a bit of direction, use a saying like "I release what no longer serves me".
- When ready, hold the roll at a 45 degree angle and light it using a match or candle. Let it burn for about 20 seconds. Avoid direct lighting with a lighter, as this can introduce unpleasant odors. Lighting should be a natural process, as it was practiced thousands of years ago. It is important not to blow out the flame, as traditionally blowing out the flame symbolizes the release and extinguishing of the energy soul. Instead, turn the lit scroll vertically upwards so that the flame is on the upper side, where it will automatically extinguish. If the flame does not go out on its own, wave the incense in the air to blow the flame out with the help of the wind. An orange ember will appear at one end of the roll and the incense starts smoking at this point.
- Walk slowly around the room and let the smoke spread. Direct the smoke - and negative energy - towards open windows or doors so it can escape. Pay special attention to areas in front of mirrors, in corners and areas such as hallways, corridors and entrances. We also recommend using incense on technological devices such as phones, tablets or laptops. Hold the incense under the device and then swing it around the device.
- Always be present. Never leave a burning roll unattended. Also, be careful not to inhale too much smoke. While walking around with incense, particles of embers can fall to the floor, so we recommend using a fireproof container.
- When you have finished the cleaning process, place the roll in a fireproof container and let the embers go out automatically.
